A Cold Fire Within

Welcome to A Cold Fire Within, an epic and mind-bending campaign for Call of Cthulhu. Set in the tumultuous year of 1935, the story begins as a seemingly routine investigation into a missing person in New York City. However, the Investigators will soon discover that this disappearance is merely the first thread in a terrifying cosmic tapestry involving past lives, psychic powers, and a forgotten ancient world.

The journey takes the heroes from the bustling, gritty streets of Manhattan and the treacherous peaks of the Catskill Mountains, down into the forgotten subterranean realm of K'n-yan. Here, amid the blue-lit ruins of a decadent lost civilization, they will face horrific matrix-beasts, tribal nomads, and a deeply entrenched cult intent on draining the power of ancient cosmic entities.

In a desperate race against time, the Investigators must travel to the hollow center of the Earth to the mythical city of Yian-Ho, braving storms of black fire and psychic onslaughts. The climax pushes the boundaries of reality, requiring time and astral travel to ancient Lomar to save captive souls before humanity's ultimate doom is sealed by the rise of a Black Sun.
