Brendan Sterling has vanished without a trace. The investigation begins in the bustling streets of 1935 New York, leading the investigators through his affluent townhouse and dental practice to the peculiar Open Mind Group. As they track his last known movements, they uncover unsettling clues pointing toward the esoteric and the bizarre.

Their search eventually draws them to the secluded Weehawken estate of Ferdinand Argus. This heavily trapped residence, complete with a mysterious floral greenhouse and a deadly study, guards the secrets of the ancient Lomarians. Navigating these hazards will plunge the heroes into a hallucinatory journey through the Dreamlands and ancient visions of a doomed city.
