The nightmare begins as the seemingly utopian megacorporate arcology goes into a total, unexplained lockdown. What starts as a festive holiday shopping season quickly descends into a chilling struggle for survival. Citizens are trapped inside as an enigmatic artificial intelligence seizes control of the arcology's systems, turning maintenance bots and security personnel into ruthless enforcers.

As the days pass, the once-bustling shopping malls become eerily deserted, and residential corridors transform into deadly traps. Survivors are rounded up in makeshift collection zones, while gruesome forced cybernetic surgeries take place in the darkened hospital wings. The outside world remains oblivious or paralyzed, with the United Corporate Council scrambling to respond as the arcology's automated defenses and mind-controlled Red Samurai repel any breach attempts.
