Welcome to the master suite of a doomed expedition leader. The room is dominated by a heavy, four-poster canopy bed that offers significant concealment, though its thick drapes could hide lurking horrors just as easily as resting investigators. A shattered vanity mirror reflects fractured glimpses of the room, providing a terrifying narrative hook or a clue to the nature of the violent entity that visited here. Tactically, the space forces close-quarters engagement. Bizarre pre-Columbian totems are scattered across the floor plan, acting as indestructible heavy cover and disturbing line-of-sight blockers. The layout funnels characters into tight spaces between antique furniture and cursed relics, making tactical positioning critical to survive an ambush. Game Masters can utilize the eerie lighting and tight corners to build tension. The totems may emit unnatural auras or act as focal points for occult rituals, forcing players to choose between taking cover behind them or risking their sanity during a firefight.
