Moored side by side at the dimly lit quays of the dock ward, these two massive carnival galleons offer a tense and cluttered tactical environment. The wooden decks are heavily obscured by tarp-covered carnival wagons, ominous parade floats, and stacks of nautical supplies, creating a labyrinth of narrow walkways and hidden alcoves under the moonlight. The proximity of the two ships allows for daring leaps between the gunwales, while the single gangway connecting to the stone docks serves as a dangerous chokepoint. Navigating this floating carnival requires careful positioning. The covered wagons and bulky parade floats provide excellent heavy cover against ranged attacks but also serve as perfect hiding spots for disguised sentries or ambushing rogues. The varying elevations between the main deck, the forecastle, and the quarterdeck offer vantage points for archers and spellcasters. For VTT users, the dynamic lighting can highlight the flickering lanterns swinging from the rigging, casting long, shifting shadows across the shadowy floats and the dark waters below.
