Navigate the treacherous curves of this towering mountain pass, where a narrow dirt road clings desperately to the cliffside. Below, a yawning chasm plunges into a dark, foreboding valley of dense pine trees, shrouded in autumn mists. The pale, lugubrious moonlight provides dim illumination, casting long, deceiving shadows that can easily hide ambushing creatures, desperate highwaymen, or creatures of the night native to the Carpathians. Tactically, this map forces linear movement and creates high-stakes positioning. A single carriage could easily block the path, creating a natural chokepoint. Characters pushed, shoved, or thrown towards the cliff edge face an immediate, deadly fall.
