Welcome to the cold, sterile confines of the subterranean morgue, a terrifying battlemap designed for investigation and horror encounters. The centerpiece is a pristine porcelain autopsy table, offering both a gruesome focal point and hard cover during unexpected firefights. Surrounding the room are walls lined with cold storage drawers, some of which are ominously pulled open, creating dynamic obstacles and breaking the line of sight for players moving stealthily through the freezing room. The tactical atmosphere is heavily defined by the lighting. A single, flickering overhead bulb casts deep, swaying shadows across the tiles, granting the Game Master perfect opportunities to utilize dynamic lighting in VTTs like Foundry or Roll20. These shifting shadows are ideal for hiding ghastly undead, cultist ambushers, or crucial investigative clues. GMs can leverage the environment's unsettling nature: the pulled-out drawers can serve as difficult terrain or spawn points for reanimated horrors. The confined space turns any encounter into a tense, claustrophobic struggle where positioning and control of the central autopsy station are vital for survival.
