The journey begins at a towering 20-foot maw, completely obscured by dense, overgrown jungle vegetation. Beyond this deceptive threshold lie pitch-black, winding tunnels that plunge deep into the earth, forcing investigators into a suffocating, single-file descent where light struggles to pierce the gloom. The uneven, rocky floor acts as a treacherous path, providing minimal natural cover behind stalagmites before opening up entirely. The tunnels abruptly end at the edge of a massive, terrifying abyss. The void is bridged and lined with impossibly thick spiderwebs, woven like industrial ropes, creating a hazardous and unstable battleground. VTT users can leverage these webs as dynamic terrain: failing dexterity saves could lead to entanglement, while dynamic lighting can be used to hide multi-legged horrors just beyond the party's line of sight in the cavernous depths.
